The PADI Advanced Open Water course expands your skills through five Adventure Dives:

What the Course Covers
The Rescue programme combines knowledge development, 10 confined‑water rescue exercises, and two open‑water scenario dives . Key skills include:
Self‑rescue & diver‑stress recognition
Responding to a tired or panicked diver (surface & underwater)
Assisting a distressed diver from boat, shore or dock
Search patterns for a missing diver
Surfacing & towing an unresponsive diver, in‑water rescue breathing
Exit techniques and oxygen‑first‑aid set‑up

Completion of the Rescue course is a prerequisite for the PADI Divemaster programme and greatly enhances your confidence and competence as a diver. All rescue scenarios are conducted within your training limits, and wreck penetration remains restricted to divers with the appropriate specialty certification and experience.
